The accommodation

Rose Cottage is a self catering holiday cottage which sleeps up to six people comfortably and has accommodation arranged over three floors - The Ground Floor has a sitting room, kitchen and dining room, which leads out to the private patio area and terrace. The First Floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom, the second floor has a further bedroom and an ensuite bathroom.

There is central heating throughout and an open fire in the dining room.

There is free and unrestricted year round parking outside Rose Cottage and in the surrounding streets. Although the Summer holidays are inevitably busier, parking is not an issue if you don't mind walking a little way. The street is wide enough outside the cottage to double park to off load luggage, shopping or people.Devon is a hilly county and Brixham is built on the hillside, so please be aware that there are a lot of steps to negotiate between the cottage and the town. Taxis are, however, plentiful and good value if you don't fancy the climb!

Starting at the top! The second floor double bedroom is accessed by a narrow and original wooden staircase, For this reason it is not suitable for children. It is a large and comfortable room in the eaves with an en suite bathroom. There is not sufficient room for a full height shower but there is an attachment for hair washing.

On the first floor are a further two double bedrooms, offering spacious and flexible accommodation. The second bathroom is also on this floor and has a bath with shower over. 

The kitchen is well equipped with halogen hob, electric oven, built in microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and plenty of pots, pans and crockery, so if you fancy cooking some of Brixham's famous seafood, you'll have plenty of options!  

The dining room has an open fire for which a basket of logs is provided. A hand made elm very unusual dining table will provide a conversation piece during meal time!  French doors lead out to the private patio area and terrace.

The sitting room is light, airy and comfortable with freeview tv/dvd player and music centre .

The Sitting Room 

Outside is a walled private patio area and  raised terrace, perfect for an evening barbecue and a glass of wine.  In the summer a large passion flower plant adorns the wall with masses of flowers and fruit trailing down and a jasmine shrub gives off its heady scent in the evening 

The washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer are located in the cave, accessed from the lower patio area.  

 Soap, towels and soft bath mats are provided in the bathrooms
